- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆STAY AWAY FROM THIS EXCURSION! Visited the Bay of Islands over the New Years holiday with my family. The Mack Attack was our last activity and turned into a nightmare. The boat was full so the operator put my little sisters in makeshift seats -with NO seat belts. The seat that my mother was sitting in broke midway through the ride causing her to violently fall to the ground. There were bolts missing from seats and safety seemed to be an afterthought. The staff was apathetic and rude. Stay away from this boat if you value your safety.By leeler24, December 27, 2020
