  Its a great place, even we didnt get the name, but I think Dave is the host when we were there (2nd of Jan., 2014) and hes absolutely fantastic, very friendly & great sense of humor! Weve been traveling during the New Year weekend, except the 1st night we had to crash out at a car park in our camp-van, the rest of 3 nights we stayed at different holiday parks, and I must say the Whangaroa Harbour Holiday Park is the best, Highly Recommend to every traveller, A+++++ Defiantly, we will go back again, for sure!!! Thank you very much, Dave & Whangaroa Harbour Holiday Park!

About Whangaroa Harbour Holiday Park in Farnorth

Whangaroa Harbour Motor Camp is set beside the beautiful Whangaroa Harbour and surrounded by native bush. The Motor Camp offers nine standard cabins and four Tourist Cabins with cooking facilities, and 20 flat sites to suit vans, mobile homes, and 30 tent sites.

A well sheltered family orientated holiday park, situated on the upper reaches of the renowned Whangaroa Harbour.

An excellently appointed park, designed to provide for the needs of families who like fishing, scuba diving and snorkelling. Good cabins and camping facilities are a feature of this park.

We are located within a few kilometres of the big game fishing club and an excellent boat launching ramp. Dive trips to the Rainbow Warrior and other fabulous dive sites are organised from the Park with full equipment rental and air fills available on site.

Fishing for marlin, shark, kingfish, snapper are a major attraction of the Whangaroa marine area. There is also a comprehensive dive shop for new scuba equipment sales.

Situated in a well wooded and sheltered valley, the camp is designed to provide to the needs of families.

Whangaroa is an outdoor paradise offering something for the whole family from pristine beaches, game fishing, bottom fishing, diving, sailing, to tramping and hiking in the tranquil surrounds of the far north east coast.
